I sincerely hope Dr. Oz can address the systemic issues plaguing our healthcare system. Having dedicated 35 years to healthcare, I witnessed a marked decline following the Affordable Care Act's implementation. The focus shifted heavily toward profit-driven practices, with facilities prioritizing billing over patient care. This has led to inflated charges, unnecessary diagnostic tests, and excessive lab work, often exploiting Medicare for financial gain. The system is deeply flawed, treating patients as mere sources of revenue rather than individuals needing compassionate care. I wish Dr. Oz success in tackling these challenges and restoring integrity to healthcare.
One of my deceased mothers nursing home administrators told me after I told her what the place needs is some empathy; she said sternly; there's no room for empathy here only Apathy. I left immediately. She was with her 🔱👺 speaking back to me. No arguing with that! May God bless us all!
I worked in healthcare administration for many years and agree with your observations. There needs to be in depth analysis and utilization review of all medical providers particularly those receiving huge reimbursements. The technology is already available for those seeking the truth.
The affordable care act was a farce my sister tried to get care insurance n she was 60 with cancer n barely working n the wanted 746$ a month. That's nit affordable for a wealthy much less minimum wage or just better. The sent me a denial 1 week after her death saying I could appeal I wrote a nasty letter on their papers n sent that mess back to them.!

Until protocols cease to be protokills it’s not gonna happen.
The Patients especially the Elderly are a Cash Cow for these Money Grubbing Soulless Parasites.
The elderly's days are filled with doctor appointments, etc...just disgusting. How about healthy diet and taking a walk? Never any mention of that.
I well Patient is lost Revenue.
