This is why I bought 25 year old truck. Selling my 2013 car because I found a website that claimed it could contact my car and tell me where I'd been driving. I don't have OnStar on this car. The report it printed out was terrifyingly accurate. Selling it. I put in the VIN of my truck and they had nothin'.

These car companies need to back off. All this should be permission based only! If I've never had an accident and no insurance company has ever had to pay me for anything, why do they get to surveil me?
